Project Overview
In 2023, DIA partnered with Shad and York University to lead a series of equitable co-design workshops for participants and program staff. Shad is the launchpad for young innovators, a summer program that equips high school students with the skills, mindset, and confidence to lead in a rapidly changing world.
Project Description & Outcomes
The workshops were designed to bring equitable co-design principles into a STEAM-focused learning environment, introducing young innovators to frameworks for thinking about justice, inclusion, and systems change alongside their technical and entrepreneurial learning.
