We are hiring a Social Researcher to support our Invitations to Better Worlds installation and Artists-in-Residents Black Creek Pioneer Village and Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre.

Invitations to Better Worlds is part of Village as Practice, a participatory public art project taking place across The Village at Black Creek and the Jane and Finch community from June through August 2026. This project brings people together through storytelling, creative engagement, and shared reflection to explore collective visions of more just and connected futures.

As a Social Researcher, you will support 2–3 participatory installations, engage visitors in meaningful conversations, and document community stories and insights. These contributions will directly inform and inspire the work of our Artists-in-Residence.

This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. Applicants must be between 15 and 30 years old and be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee protection.
