Michelle has been working in theatre and education for over 20 years. She is both an elementary school teacher with the TDSB, and a puppeteer. She is pleased to sit on the Advisory Board for the DIA, as well as being a Board Member as Secretary, and creator of Teacher/Education Guides for Solar Stage Children’s Theatre. Past employment includes Lead Performer with Famous PEOPLE Players; playwright, shadow puppet designer, and builder for Solar Stage Children’s Theatre, and Metaphysical Theatre/Rosy Cheeks Co-op. Michelle also worked as Education Consultant, Media Buyer, and Manager of Mabel’s Fables Children’s Bookstore for 13 years. Michelle holds a BFA Honours in Creative Ensemble from York University (2002) and a BEd. from OISE/University of Toronto (2008).
